Hi,

we would like to toggle opacity for our 3Dtiles model in order to view 2d vector or raster data such as land parcel and basemap that is underneath our building model.

However, as the road is also part of our 3Dtiles model, it didn’t appear transparent enough to let user see through it to view the data layer underneath. Is there any configuration we need to update in our code for it? Currently testing in sandcastle but we have CesiumJS deployed in our server.

Here I attached a snapshot of we trying to view the basemap layer underneath the model but the pavement is opaque.

Thanks.

Did you try this?

```auto
const customShader = new Cesium.CustomShader({
    translucencyMode: Cesium.CustomShaderTranslucencyMode.TRANSLUCENT
});
tileset.customShader = customShader;
```

Here is another example of the opacity issue we have with our models, in the deployed CesiumJS web app

Building is not fully transparent from our POV
