Architectural tileset (ID 28871xx) missing from “My Assets”

Hi Cesium team,

After updating the Cesium for Unreal plugin and the sample project this week, Maps 14-16 no longer load any 3-D buildings.The troubleshooting messages indicate that building-related assets are inaccessible, including HVAC, Site, Structural, Plumbing, Facade and Electrical (IDs around 28871xx).

I checked:

  • My Assets – no assets with id 28871xx

  • Asset Depot – no result for any architecture keyword

  • regenerated token with full scope – no change

The same project worked earlier this year. Aside from the update, I didn’t make any changes to the official sample project.

Ok, I’d like to help if I can. What is the username that should own these assets, and at least one full asset ID that I can search against?

I’m not sure what you mean by “username”. I believe all ion users should have these assets. They could be self-built assets of the Cesium for UE team. As for the IDs, they are 2887124, 2887128, 2887123, 2887127, 2887125, 2887130.

Ok. Those are all owned by the CesiumJS user; I’ll loop that team in.

I’ll note that I don’t see a problem with those assets; it may be an issue with the access token you’re using; it may have expired, or something else may have gone wrong. @cesium-cesiumjs are these meant to be in the asset depot? Or do you provide an access token? It’s the Snowdon Towers samples.

We rotate the tokens for the Cesium for Unreal Samples project every two months to prevent abuse. We push updates to the Fab Marketplace, but I’m not sure if they automatically apply to your copies of the project on your machine. (Based on some threads I’ve seen online, I suspect it doesn’t.)

You can make a new copy of the sample project, which will provide a new working token. However, we recommend using your own token to access Cesium ion assets, including the ones we provide in the Asset Depot.

In this case, Snowdon Towers is a sample asset through our CesiumJS account that has not been made available through the Asset Depot. Are you trying to use it in your own project?

I realize the root cause was this: after updating the sample project, I instinctively logged in to my own Cesium ion account and regenerated the project token, which broke access to the assets.
So I just need to create a fresh sample project and leave the token untouched. The Snowdon Towers asset loads fine.
