# Cross-cut sphere/ellipsoid objects?

Hi,

Is there a way to cross-cut and hide partitions of elllipsoids/spheres? Kind of like forming domes.

Hi there,

We don’t have direct support of this right now, although it’s definitely on our radar. Here’s an open issue for it: [https://github.com/AnalyticalGraphicsInc/cesium/issues/5167](https://github.com/AnalyticalGraphicsInc/cesium/issues/5167)

I’ve linked to this thread so we can keep you updated.

Or import 3d models to use.
