# Does Cesium support data for the I3S protocol?

Does the latest version of Cesium support I3S protocol data? Or will the data for this protocol be supported in a future release?

I believe there are currently no plans at the time of writing to add support for I3S. Is there something you’re trying to do with it that isn’t supported in 3D Tiles?
