Early Access: New Design Formats in Cesium ion

This is great news for Rhino users!
I work in Rhino Technical Support at AppliCraft, the official Rhinoceros distributor in Japan, and I’ve been exploring workflows connecting Rhino, GIS, and Cesium. So far, I’ve been using a georeferenced KMZ-based workflow, so I’m particularly interested in the Early Access support for Rhino (.3dm).

Hi everyone, I’ve been exploring how 3D models created in Rhino can be connected with GIS and brought into a broader geospatial context through Cesium. [rhino-gh-heron-cesium] In this workflow, I use Heron, a Grasshopper plugin for working with GIS data in Rhino, to establish the geographic reference in WGS84 (EPSG:4326).
