# How to implement terrain excavation through cesium

I want to realize terrain excavation through cesium，I thought of a way through the clippingPlaneCollection API and entity API by paste the terrain map ，butgot poor results，Is there any better way, I hope you can give a code example，and thank you very much！

There are a few earthworks applications built on top of cesium, and they are all fairly custom. It depends on exactly what you want to visualize. If you provide some additional context around what you’d like to visualize, we may be able to provide more specific advice.
