JSON files created by Cesium Ion are displayed incorrectly in GIS programs regarding their height and position

Hello, we are experiencing the following issue: When we convert .gml files from geodata services into .json files using Cesium Ion, these JSON files are displayed incorrectly in GIS programs. The buildings are misaligned in terms of height and position. Individual tiles overlap each other. So far, we have not been able to find a solution. Perhaps someone can help us with this.

Hi,

Can you please let us know which GIS program you are using to render the tileset from Cesium ion?

Thanks,
Ankit

Hi Ankit,

we are using the long term release of QGIS.

QGIS 3.34 Prizren

Thanks a lot
Yannik

Hey Ankit,
we also tried it with ArcGIS Pro version 3.3.0, but we are encountering the exact same issues here as well.

Hi,

I can pass this information along to the relevant team. Could you please also let me know a sample asset id so that it will be easy for the team to reproduce this issue.

Thanks,
Ankit

Hi,

we are not sure if our self-created asset IDs are unique as well. However, one sample asset ID would be: 2807742. You can also try the asset IDs 2848283, 2914728, 2918450, 2918476 and 2918489 if you need more evidence.

Thank you
Yannik

Just in case you haven’t seen it because he hasn’t replied, Yannik sent the assets here. Regards.

Hi,

Thank you for providing me with the asset ids, I will reach back out to you as soon as I have an update.

Thanks,
Ankit
