@tealminivan

Thank you for sharing some details on your project! This sounds like an amazing application. I am looking forward to seeing your progress 😃 I am going to do my best to answer your questions.

1. It is possible to move 3D tiles! For instance, in [this sandcastle demo](https://sandcastle.cesium.com/?src=3D%20Tiles%20Adjust%20Height.html&label=3D%20Tiles) we showcase how to adjust the height of a 3d tileset. However, I suggest moving `Entity` objects using CZML. In this case, each `Entity` would be your 3d model and a CZML dataset would dictate the position of each model.

- [Here](https://github.com/AnalyticalGraphicsInc/czml-writer/wiki/CZML-Guide) is our CZML spec. This should help you get familiar with CZML.
- [Here](https://cesium.com/learn/cesiumjs/ref-doc/Entity.html) is our documentation for `Entity`. I recommend reading this over carefully so that you understand the capabilities of this object.
- Also, check out [this sandcastle demo](https://sandcastle.cesium.com/#c=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). I believe that it showcases a lot of the functionality that you will need for your application. It should help you get started.

My biggest concern with using CZML is that I have never used it to track objects in real-time. It is possible that there are other formats that are better suited for real-time tracking. **Suggestions from the community would be welcomed**. However, I did find this thread about CZML that begins to address the issue.

> 1. A concise explanation of the problem you’re experiencing. Satellite is glitchy/jumpy when ingesting CZML data into Cesium - see attached video 2. A minimal code example. If you’ve found a bug, this helps us reproduce and repair it. I’m just going to focus on the CZML parameters below. If I missed anything that maybe important, please let me know. I set the availability interval for a quite a while. I am also sending this CZML packet data below every time the external data is being updat…

1. For this application, I strongly recommend using Cesium ion. In terms of workarounds, exploring a static Apache HTTPS server seems like a great starting place.

Let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns. I would love to see some demos of what you have so far! Even seeing your 3D battleship models would be cool. Looking forward to learning more.
