Point cloud data is not displayed at the correct location in Cesium ion location settings

To align point cloud data in Cesium ion, we configured the location using latitude and longitude on the location settings screen, but the data is rendered in a different position from the intended one. Specifically, even when entering the latitude and longitude of the intersection in front of Tokyo Station (35.682991, 139.76507), the point cloud is displayed above the sea over Tokyo Bay.

Hi,
It is possible that the origin (0,0,0) of the point cloud is not located at the center of the points. The location editor will place the local origin of the points at the provided latitude/longitude. So if the points are 1km away from the local origin, the points will be 1km away from the provide location.

Are you able to provide an asset id so we can investigate this further?

If you zoom out you should be able to locate the position widget. That is where the local origin is located. You can drag the arrows on that widget to move your point cloud to the correct location

Please let us know if that resolves your issue or if you have further questions.
