# proxy help?

I’m new to proxies and looking for help.

In my apache2 httpd.conf file I added the following:

ProxyPass /foo/ [http://dev.virtualearth.net/](http://dev.virtualearth.net/)

ProxyPassReverse /foo/ [http://dev.virtualearth.net/](http://dev.virtualearth.net/)

In my Cesium viewer initialization I added the proxy:

imageryProvider : new Cesium.BingMapsImageryProvider({ url : ‘[//dev.virtualearth.net](https://dev.virtualearth.net)’,

key : ‘-- my key --’,

proxy: new Cesium.DefaultProxy(’/foo/’) })

This returns a browser error that indicates that instead of tile imagery it is trying to load a default page one gets at [http://dev.virtualearth.net](http://dev.virtualearth.net) which sends you to [https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd877180.aspx](https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd877180.aspx)

Any ideas here?
