Hi, we’re building Earth in creative mode with NOOKS, an independent browser renderer that reconstructs real places as block worlds. It is not a Cesium integration, but I thought the broader 3D geospatial community might have useful experience with a question I’m working through.
The public preview currently displays four cities: Toronto, New York, San Francisco and Paris. Try it here: https://app.nooks.place/
When geometry is simplified for a playful, accessible visualisation, how do you keep source identity and uncertainty legible to the viewer? I’m interested in patterns that preserve the distinction between source facts and presentation choices without requiring users to understand the data pipeline.
The current preview is for exploration. Editing and wider public coverage are future work. If you have a useful example of provenance or uncertainty presented well in an interactive 3D scene, I’d appreciate a pointer.
