# Trying to benchmark a map server

I'm configuring a map server, Geo Server to be exact, and was wondering where in Cesium's code I could place time stamps to measure the load time for a layer. I'm trying different data configurations (single tiff, mosaic, image pyramid) and would like to see which is the best performer.
