# Turn infobox off and on with javascript

**1. A concise explanation of the problem you’re experiencing.**

When an entity is selected, besides the location rectangle the info box appears. I would like to be able to select whether or not this happens with javascript, sometimes yes and sometimes no.I have not been able to find appropriate the API documentation.

**2. A minimal code example. If you’ve found a bug, this helps us reproduce and repair it.**

**3. Context. Why do you need to do this? We might know a better way to accomplish your goal.**

**4. The Cesium version you’re using, your operating system and browser.**

I am using the most recent.
