If you’re wanting to see a total of all sunlight hitting the surface over a time interval, one option would be to generate an environment map which is the sum of sky maps at every time step in your interval, at the desired longitude and latitude. Then you could convert that to a specular map and spherical harmonic coefficients and apply it to your scene via ImageBasedLighting.
