obj colour surfaces

We have a number of overlaying geological surfaces we would like to display. It would be great if i we could colour the surfaces based on their elevation (or pseduo elevation) and allow users to create contours of the content themselves.

Showing contours and having on the fly colouring of the highs and lows of the surfaces would make the display much more easy to interpret.

Right now, you can do slope/elevation shading on terrain since CesiumJS has built-in support for that:

Doing it on custom models/3D Tiles is possible but you’d need to create a custom shader or a 3D Tiles style. There’s some discussion on that in this thread too:
