Problem generating 3D tile sets

We’re attempting to generate point cloud and mesh tiles from an external pipeline that uploads scan data to Cesium Ion in LAS or OBJ format. The pipeline has worked correctly until recently, but now generates invalid tile sets with errors of the form

“Something went wrong with this asset. To report this issue, please email support@cesium.com with the asset ID: 1833785.”

Uploading LAS files generated from the same data directly to Cesium Ion generates similar results. The LAS files are viewable in CloudCompare without issue.

Can you please let me know how to proceed?

Hi,

I apologize for the lack of response here. Looks like the asset id you have listed had failed at the same time we had an outage due to an underlying outage from AWS. See here for more information about the outage on Cesium ion.

The problem appears to have resolved once the AWS outage did, so that was probably the underlying cause.
