Our releases are going well by having everyone get a chance to do them. I suggest one minor tweak to decentralize it a bit more.
I’ve been requesting volunteers each month - it just kinda happened - but this was never my intension. I’d rather the person doing the release be responsible for finding the next volunteer (or even better people just up and volunteer since it is so much fun). Think of this more like a linked list.
It’s possible that someone could wind up doing all the releases, but, in practice, we won’t let that happen. I don’t think someone should do more than two releases in a row.
