terrain rendered like stairway with GeoserverTerrainProvider

I got GeoserverTerrainProvider up and running except the rendered terrain like stairway.I'm using the geoserver's demo tif.The the data is good both in openlayer and altitude query with terrainprovider.

  any help will be appreciate.
