billboard z-index

Hi,

when I have many billboards in my scene, how do I define which will appear above the other (z-index) ?

Hi there,

Since Cesium is a 3D engine, the billboard locations are specified in 3D space and the are drawn onscreen such that the ones closer to the camera are on top. If you give more details, we may be able to help you get the behavior you need.

What you are saying is that the billboard on top will be the one that his height value is the largest?

In this it is OK for my needs.

Hi Kfir,

If you’re talking about 2D mode, then yes, the one with the larger height will appear on top – it’s all about distance to camera.
