Cesium ION 1.9.0 frontend failed on k8s node with older VM

I tried running Cesium ION 1.9.0 in a vSphere–Kubernetes environment. However, the Cesium ION frontend (version 1.9.0) does not run on such a k8s node. It crashes at startup.:

Fatal glibc error: CPU does not support x86-64-v3

Nodes doesn’t support the following CPU features:

avx2, bmi1, bmi2

Cesium ION Frontend Version 1.8.0 works.
