Hello,
Posting here as I’m not sure if this is a bug or if I’ve just mis-used the water masking system.
I’m using the Cesium Terrain tileset, since this was the only public one which I was sure would have water masks. I have enabled the water mask and, as an example, replaced both the main tileset material and the water one with basic materials. These issues still occur with materials created from copies of those provided by Cesium.
To my knowledge this should mean that any tiles that contain any part of the water mask that has water should have their material replaced with the blue water one? For the most part this works!
However, directly underneath the player, the tiles seem to always retain the base tileset material, resulting in there always being a chunk of ocean there without the water material applied. This can be seen in the below screenshot where I have ejected from the pawn and flown straight up. The red patch in the centre is around the pawn which is hovering in the middle of the ocean.
I have confirmed with someone else at my company that they also see these issues and have re-installed the cesium plugin, to see if we’ve inadvertently edited it. To my knowledge the only thing that could be causing this is the tileset itself not correctly applying the materials?
Was hoping to find out if this is an issue with that class or if we have fumbled the setup somehow?
