I put together a short Committer’s Guide for those folks working in the main repo. I tried not to make anything up, and only document things we are already doing.

At the risk of being “that guy,” I’ll suggest that we should consolidate (or provide better links for) our Committer’s Guide, Contributor’s Guide, CONTRIBUTING, CONTRIBUTORS, and Coding Conventions.

I think we can do some improvements here. I envision a “Getting Involved” guide that would bring together a few things like we did for GSoC applicants. I’ll work on it as time allows.
