Destroying assets is not permitted to avoid data loss

This is a known bug, and we have a Github issue open for it here. We’ll update this thread when we have a fix.

Is it a problem with the Unity version

No, it’s something wrong with the plugin attempting to destroy a texture asset in the cloned material.

So far everything works very well: Live ADS-B traffic data, live weather with volumetric clouds, day/night cycle and Cesium Unity plugin. The only thing that doesn’t work yet is the shadow of my objects (airplanes). I can copy the shader and change the metallic roughness texture - which would be the solution for me. But then I also get the error message. I’m looking forward to when the bug is fixed.

Just to update, this bug has been fixed as of Cesium for Unity v1.8.0!
