Geometry and Appearances

A while back I mentioned we started on static geometry batching, which is the foundation for drawing a lot of static objects very quickly. This is now known as “Geometry and Appearances”, and there is an open pull request:

including incomplete draft tutorials. In addition, the roadmap is worth a read.

Feedback and contributions, e.g., new geometry types, are welcome.
