We just posted a new showcase on the Cesium website, the Hiroshima Archive by Hidenori Watanave, Ph.D., Associate Professor at Tokyo Metropolitan University. This is a very well done app that tells the story of the Hiroshima bombing, including survivors’ accounts and photos.
The previous version was written using Google Earth. Dr. Watanave and team are porting their other GE apps to Cesium, and creating new apps such as The Battle of Okinawa in WWII.
Dr. Watanave is also presenting “Migrating from Google Earth API to Cesium” at FOSS4G in Seoul this September. We appreciate all of his contributions!
