Holes in tiles during Render

I have looked at other posts but cant find the reason why there are holes in my tiles during render…

I have forbid holes enabled, the maximum screen space error is set to 8, i tried even lower, but it seemed to make the issue even worse…

I cant find any reason for why this is happening… any support would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi @fin150,

I’m sorry that the plugin has been causing frustration. It looks like you’re using Google Photorealistic 3D Tiles, is that correct?

Is it possible to increase the number of warmup frames that you take before the render? Usually that gives a buffer of time for the data to load.

If that doesn’t help though, could you help us reproduce this (so that we can experiment with settings on our own side) by sharing:

  • What longitude, latitude, and height you’re viewing
  • A screenshot of your tileset settings
  • Your sequencer settings (e.g., warmup frame count)

We’ll try to troubleshoot from there. Thank you!

Hi, having the same problem here. i have holes appearing and disappeaing when rendering.
they are close to the camera only, and I have a warmup frame count of 2000 before rendering…

The most common cause of holes when rendering a video is that your Level Sequence is not located in your level. If it’s just an object in the content browser, Cesium for Unreal can’t see it, and so it won’t be able to ensure all tiles are loaded before each frame is snapped.

If that’s not the problem, please provide more details of your level setup and maybe we’ll have some ideas. Ideally, if you can give us step-by-step instructions for reproducing the problem, preferably starting with the Cesium for Unreal Samples project, that will greatly increase the chances that we can help.
