How to add water to large cesium

Question for those who know

How do you add water/ocean, the correct way, what is involved or what all need tobe added.

I have very large cesium land mass, stretch’s for many miles , beyond visual.

And I have a ocean added, but I am finding I can’t get the water level at the right level as I fly across, Its like the ocean is set to flat and cesium landmass is set to round. searching for solution.

any how I must be missing something, so what are correct procedures for adding a ocean to cesium landmass.

that to those who can answer. the url for the project is here https://youtu.be/kycnCHeINBk , and here , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=II9fVcD3H7o , watch it and you see what I mean as I fly over the landscape towards the west , the ocean will be above the landmass, so land is sunken if I move landmass down, the it fixes it but I then get into chasing my own tail. ocean is flat, landmass is round. is there a fix?

thanks.

Hi @Battlegear2099,

It’s definitely a challenge to deal with water bodies on such a large scale. Can you describe your current approach so we can get a better idea of what you did? Maybe there’s an alternative water mesh shape that would work better for your use case?

I added a water body ocean , set the far distance value real high, then lowered the cesium to till water was visible around the cesium landscape terrain line. now I trying to add lakes and rivers to selected terrain areas see if that works. and leave the ocean wide open none land ocean area for off the land. I kinda in to this for long haul, been working on this for few years, kinda long term project. so adding lakes now and ocean later , still got lots to do in a military flight sim in progress project.
