Objects shifting on globe

I have placed 3D models, human figures, on the globe and tried to size them to correct human height. I positioned them at specific Latitude and Longitude coordinates on the globe. What I noticed, though, is that when I moved the view about the globe the models would shift across the landscape and not remain fixed where positioned. Why is this happening and is there something to be done to prevent this happening?

It’s hard to tell for sure without seeing a code example I can run to verify, but this sounds like those models are actually underneath the ground, and are showing through. Does enabling depth test against terrain resolve the issue? You can enable this with:

viewer.scene.globe.depthTestAgainstTerrain = true;
