Adding support for this is definitely on our radar and is something we would like to add soon. I don’t know all of the details, but from my understanding it is a very complicated graphics problem and we need to do some research to figure out a method to do this that works all of the time and also renders efficiently so it doesn’t slow down the application.
I have created lines draping using corridors, but it is rendering very slowly… the map gets stuck for around 45 secs and after that drapes the lines (corridors).
How to improve the performance…? I am extracting lat-lon from the linestring geojson and looping around 2000 times for each feature in the geojson…
We have been converting our application to Cesium the past 7 months. All is great, on version 1.38. We have managed to clamp to ground all our geometries apart from the polyline. Which is a problem for most of us. Is there any update regarding draping polyline over terrain, or do you have a workaround for the interim.

I’m not Hannah or Rachel, but I can tell you unfortunately there’s no update for polylines on terrain yet. It’s near the top of our roadmap, but our development team has been rather busy. In the meantime, there’s a workaround here if you need. If you or your team has any resources to spare with development, that would help move things along as well!
Thank you so much for the reply. I will review the workaround. Will look into draping of polylines a bit further when things quiet down here, we are currently heading into releasing our software.
