Tutorial demo not working

I wanted to try out the ion demo tutorial but not having luck/success uploading the Melbourne sensor activity data (Step 6, Introduction to Cesium Stories – Cesium), CZML file. Getting the error with drag-and-drop as well as Add asset… upload path:

Uncaught (in promise) gie {statusCode: 409, response: `{"code":"InvalidArgument","message":"Invalid Parameter: 'type' must be a valid asset type."}

I discovered if I added the asset/data while in My Assets (rather than within the Story), ion would load the data and then within the story in the My Assets pane I could access the data and complete the tutorial.
