Hello everyone,
Please join me in welcoming Abhishek Potnis to the Google
Summer of Code for 2015!
Abhishek is a graduate student at the Indian Institute of
Technology Bombay and is focusing his research efforts on ray tracing based
optical canopy reflectance modeling and visualization using high performance
computing. He is also a passionate web developer, a member of the IIT Bombay
Student Satellite Initiative, and contributor to the Mozilla project.
This summer he will be using Cesium to explore ways to
visualize LIDAR profile data from NASA’s CALIPSO satellite. We look forward to
working with Abhishek on this fun and exciting project!
