Hello,
We have been struggling with a new issue recently. For some reason we are unable to connect the the ion servers from unreal. We see the following message in the output log when clicking on the “Connect to Cesium ion” button, and the browser does not launch to perform the oauth2 / token selection process
Hi, thanks for taking my points.
We still have the issue here are the answers to the requested points :
We are trying to access cesium through ZScaler client connector (Zscaler Client Connector | Platform), from inside or outside our corporate network. We did try to connect to cesium ion with zscaler enabled and disabled, and each time it failed. I can mention that I tried to access cesium ion from home office, and from my personnal computer it works but not from my corporate computer. We are trying to figure what we need to change in our infrastructure to make it work. From our zscaler team, everything is open on their side.
We are trying to connect from France
we have been experiencing the issue with windows 10 and 11, and with browsers Chrome and firefox as default browsers for the oauth endpoint.
That’s a strange error, and we’re not sure what to make of it.
It’s a bit of a long shot, but you might try following the instructions here on the problematic machine and see if it helps:
Another possibility is that you network and/or Zscaler requires an HTTP proxy, particularly for POST requests. Unreal Engine does not automatically use the proxy configured for Windows. If this is the problem, some users have been able to solve it as described here:
