Distant tiles not loading + pop-in during render in Cesium for Unreal 5.6

This is happening on every shot, but this is maybe the worst pop-in.
I just have the vocal length of the lens animated, so the camera isn’t actually getting closer to the tiles.
Bonus: I can’t figure out how to get the WaterBodyOcean to not pop in.

There’s no perfect solution that will completely avoid pop-in, but here are some ideas:

  1. Decrease the Maximum Screen Space Error. This means you’ll get more detail sooner, so the shifts will be smaller.
  2. Enable the Use Lod Transitions property on the tileset. This will use a dithered fade to switch LODs, which may look better.

Note that (2) will not work for recorded videos. If you’re recording, (1) is the best option.
