Gaussian Splats - Ion Support

Hello,

I am having trouble rendering Gaussian Splats within Cesium Ion. Is this possible? Can it work with Cesium JS from Ion?

Hi,

Gaussian splat visualization with Cesium JS streamed from Cesium ion is a supported feature. Can you share the asset id of the gaussian splat that you are having trouble seeing? There might be something specific to the particular asset that might be going on.

Hi,

It looks like both of the assets you have provided aren’t tiled by Cesium ion. 4030468 was uploaded as a pre-tiled asset and Cesium ion only hosts your asset and doesn’t tile them. The visualization of this will depend upon where you exported this asset from. 4055255 was uploaded as an obj and tiled as a model and not gaussian splat.

If you would like to work with Gaussian splats, you can upload ply files directly to Cesium ion to tile. You can also upload photos for reconstruction and tile them with the Recontruction option directly to gaussian splats.
