Hello,
I have satellite imagery assets that I imported into Unity as a flat plane (not as terrain). The imagery is meant to serve as the base layer in Unity, so I tried creating an OBJ/FBX file. I attempted to create a flat plane in Wavefront OBJ format and tried applying the imagery as the base layer. However, it didn’t work, whether I used true origin, cartographic origin, and place origin here. How can I make the imagery I have work as a plane object in Unity? Thank you.
Hi @faisal1495, can you walk us through what you’ve done step-by-step? You mention an OBJ/FBX, but then you’re asking about modes of the CesiumGeoreference. Did you upload your plane model to Cesium ion in there somewhere, and now you’re trying to use the 3D Tiles it created? If you truly just imported an FBX into Unity, then that should be unaffected by the CesiumGeoreference, and it’s not clear to me what you may have expected it to do.
