I’ve been using the latest github install of cesium here: Releases · CesiumGS/cesium-omniverse · GitHub
And following the guide mentioned here: Cesium for Omniverse Quickstart – Cesium
I followed the steps in the guide and the extensions successfully showed up in the Extension Manager. However, I couldn’t get Cesium to run, due to dependency linkage errors. I have attached a screenshot with my ldd results of the libcesium plugin. In the container I’ve been using to run Omniverse, I can’t find a lot of these .so files. Does anyone have any information as to where to get these .so files so I can run cesium?

We don’t bundle the shared libraries with the extension because they are included in kit and are dynamically linked automatically. That’s why you see not found when running ldd.
Do you have the error log from within IsaacSim?
Attached are the error logs I get from Cesium startup without any manipulation. My LD_LIBRARY_PATH is “/usr/local/lib64:/usr/local/cuda-13.0.2/lib64:/usr/lib64”, so this cesium so file isn’t found without adding the path to it. I’m using the image nvcr.io/nvidia/isaac-sim:6.0.0-dev2 . Thanks for the help!

I think the problem is that isaac-sim:6.0.0-dev2 updated to Kit 110 which is not yet supported by Cesium for Omniverse.
There’s an issue open for that here:
Until that’s supported are you able to use isaac-sim:6.0.0-dev1?
