Hello everyone!
We’re thrilled to share what we’ve been working on. Over the past 5 years, our team has been developing Keyframe Software, an innovative digital platform built for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry using Cesium JS.
Our Use Case & Industry Challenges
The AEC sector faces significant challenges: managing large, complex datasets like point clouds and BIM models, maintaining spatial accuracy, and limited stakeholder collaboration. Keyframe was built to address these needs by providing a platform where users can visualise, compare, and manage data in real-time within a geospatial context. This ensures teams use the most accurate and up-to-date information at every project phase.
We also aim to simplify data accessibility. Traditionally, viewing critical project data required expensive software licenses, high level of technical expertise and costly hardware. With Keyframe, you can access the platform through a web browser!
Here are some of the ways we’ve integrated Cesium’s features:
3D Tiles Next: We use 3D Tiles to visualise massive point clouds, GIS and BIM datasets in real-time, essential for large sites such as airports and marine structures.
Geospatial Precision: Cesium enables us to position models and datasets accurately in a global context, which is crucial for disciplines like surveying, construction, and design.
Cloud-based Accessibility: With Cesium JS, our platform offers browser-based access to data, ensuring teams can connect and collaborate anywhere.
We’re constantly evolving! Keyframe continues to develop and grow, with new features added regularly to better serve the AEC industry.
