Missing 3D data for Dubai

i have a issue in photorealistic view

  1. i create blank 3d tiles,
  2. change the latitude and longitude and the
  3. last one change to url and enter google api like this https://tile.googleapis.com/v1/3dtiles/root.json?key=**MapsAPIKey** and
    map is generate.
    but elevation is not shown in dubai downtown area its complete 2d view
    and other places are properly generate with elevation
    please help me

It appears the Google Maps Photorealistic 3D Tiles dataset doesn’t include 3D building for Dubai. It’s not completely 2D, as you can see mountains in the distance, but there are no buildings.

The situation is the same even in Google Maps:

So there’s no solution other than to request that Google provide coverage for this city. You can do that with the “Send Feedback” page near the top right corner of this page.

I was looking for the same. Turns out they don’t allow google to publish the 3D data (buildings). They apparently are digitising it but for government use only (not sure if Google is even involved in this). They’re pretty strict in their laws :frowning:
