We’ve just shared the story of Outdooractive, an app for sports tourism, that is using CesiumJS to create 3D views of trails.
Users, which include both outdoor enthusiasts and tourism professionals, can create routes based on their GPS tracks and visualize them in an interactive 3D environment built with CesiumJS.
They can also easily put together videos that show a 3D animation of the trail, which they can embed on their own sites or on the Outdooractive site.
