I’ve tried 3D Survey and Meshroom to perform photogrammetry of drone-collected photos of rock formation (DJI M30T). Pictures have precise locations from GPS and RTK. I’ve created 3D models (.obj, .mtl, .png) and converted it in CesiumIon to 3D Tiles. The model is ok, but the georeferencing is missing. What should I do to get precisely georeferenced 3D tiles in .b3dm LOD structure?
Hi,
A first thing to verify would be to see that the software you are using to create the obj exports the geo referencing information into the obj file.
You can also georeference your model on Cesium ion if the georeference information isn’t carried through with the obj. You can click on the “Adjust tileset location” button and manually enter in the coordinates of georeferenced location of the model
Thanks,
Ankit
