Hello,
Thank you very much for this amazin Plugin.
I’m stuck on a project. I want to choose a location according to latitude and longitude and in the first place show the specific places that are linked to those coordinates, but I can use Inaccurate Set Georeference Origin. Maybe I don’t do the correct setup.
In a second place, I want to set the surface of the map at the location that I choose to Z=0, and I can’t find out how I can do that automatically with blueprints.
Let me check my understanding. You want to position the Georeference such that the surface of the terrain lines up with Z = 0, and you want to do this with Blueprints. Is that correct?
If so, you might want to look at the Sample Height Most Detailed Blueprint. You can query for the height at a certain latitude / longitude location, then set the Height on the Georeference. (Note that in Cesium for Unreal, “Height” refers to the height above the WGS84 ellipsoid model, which is not necessarily equal to the height of the point above the terrain.)
Hello,
Thank you for your response.
I’m not sure I understand the explanation, I am still a beginner in this field. Can you visually show me the blueprint I should do to place myself at a requested longitude, latitude, and altitude initially? I think that with this I could improve my understanding.
