The cardboard sandcastle is great. Is it possible to reset the camera orientation? When I place my phone into the Google Cardboard and look straight ahead, it displays as though I was looking down.

Unfortunately, there isn’t. You have to hit the VR button with the phone already in the direction you intend to look before rotating your head. It should be simple to add a button that would re-center the camera if it starts off track.

Same way as you would without VR mode, by setting the camera position and orientation. The Camera Tutorial covers how to do this.
