3D Tiles Data Storage Location and External Hosting Options

Hi Cesium Support,
I’m not entirely sure if this is the right place to ask, but I would like to request some clarification regarding data storage.

Related to a contractual requirement we have with our client, I would like to ask about the storage location of our 3D tiles in Cesium:

  1. Where are the servers located that store our 3D tiles? Are the assets hosted within Australia or in another region?

  2. Is it possible to store 3D tiles outside of Cesium’s storage, for example on our own servers or a third-party storage, and still display them through Cesium?

This information is important for us to ensure we stay compliant with our client’s contract terms.

Hi not sure why you haven’t gotten an answer yet so here I go.

  1. I can’t say anything to that but please note that its also possible to self-host cesium ion if you really need it.
  2. Yes! 3D Tiles can be streamed from any source, that’s what I’m doing personally.
