3d tileset not loading, i.e. no landmass is visible in UE 5.6.1

Recently I migrated from UE 5.5.4 to UE 5.6.1. I find that 3d tile set is not loading in editor as well as in packaged game. However once I clicked the 3d tile set in editor it starts loading.

Can you share some more information with us so we can diagnose this issue?

  • What version of Cesium for Unreal are you using?
  • Does this behavior happen for every 3D Tileset, or just specific ones (like Cesium World Terrain, Google Photorealistic 3D Tiles)?
  • Do you see the same behavior in the Cesium for Unreal Samples project?

My best guess is that you’ve run Unreal Engine 5.6.1 under Remote Desktop or similar, so it has (unhelpfully) switched to non-realtime mode. This setting persists even if you stop using Remote Desktop. See here:
