Hi there,
When I try to render a movie from a Cine Camera Actor from a Level Sequencer, my actors seem to disappear from the render. They appear just fine in the editor. It does seem that if I move my actors higher on the Z they seem to not disappear, so is this something about being too low on the Z such that during render they get removed from the world? Like they fell off the surface of the earth?
Here’s a video recorded of my screen showing the Level Sequence rendering in the Editor where everything is fine.
Then here’s a video of the movie rendering of the Cine Camera Actor where the building disappears.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Oh, I should also mention that if I move the camera closer to the object, it seems to not disappear during the render. So is there some kind of max distance for an actor during a render when using Cesium? I would assume I could change that setting. Or, is this just an Unreal Engine setting that has nothing to do with Cesium? I’ve done a fair amount of Unreal work and never seen this happen before, but I tend to not work with worlds that are so large.
Ok, I think I figured it out. The assets default to “Is Spatially Loaded” as True in the World Partition section of their Details. This means they aren’t loaded if they’re too far away, which happens in a Cesium world pretty readily. So, I unchecked this box and things seem to work consistently now.
