Some of you may already have heard the news, but the Google Earth Enterprise server, which was deprecated in 2015 and official EOL last week has been made open source. (The Google Earth client and data are still closed.).

I hope this thread also serves as a point of discussion for feedback on using Cesium as a GEE client and any other thoughts our community has on how we can help migrate legacy GEE applications to Cesium and Cesium Composer.
