Converting SRTM Data to 3D Tiles?

I was wondering if there’s a way to convert the SRTM data at this site to 3D tiles?

Hi Darryl,

Do you need this exact dataset? The Cesium base terrain includes SRTM:

http://cesiumjs.org/data-and-assets/terrain/stk-world-terrain.html

Otherwise, you may be interested in this product from AGI - the company who started Cesium - that converts to quantized-mesh for use in Cesium:

Getting Started with STK Terrain Server

(let me know if you want an AGI intro).

I don’t think there is a 3D Tiles converter.

Actually any dataset well do, I’m trying to determine what hardware I would need to adequately create and serve 3d tiles.
