This sounds super cool! Does this update automatically? It could be useful to add county level data in the US, like this map does: https://covid19map.us/. Looks like their data source is USAFacts: https://usafacts.org/visualizations/coronavirus-covid-19-spread-map/
Yep it already has that from the same source! Also it includes a little slider to see the cases over time. Data updates when page loads if it’s more than 5 min old.
