ECW Files in Cesium

Hello support team,

Does Cesium commands support ECW to create the tiles? I don’t want to lose resolution converting it to GTIFF; JPEG or PNG f.e.

The goal is use it in the Unreal engine to texture DEMs.

Hi

ECW is currently not supported in Cesium ion because it requires a third-party server licenses and is non-free.

Can you elaborate on your concern on using (uncompressed) GeoTIFF? That should be lossless.

how much are that third-party server licenses? where i can find them?

how can I have an uncompressed GeoTIFF? If I can have one ECW converted to one I guess I should be able to have more resolution? I’m looking for the maximum accuracy as possible.
