Google Photorealistic 3D Tiles: jagged Cesium Cartographic Polygon cutout

Hello all,

I have 2x Cesium Cartographic Polygon cutouts, one containing the location area and one extracting the site.
All was well when “suddenly” the site cut out was no longer rendering a smooth cut but a jagged edge which consequently displays portions I need to be excluded, as per the screenshot attached.

Thanks in advance

OK… I think it might be me.

FYI: I went back to an earlier backup of my Cesium level which pre-dated my adding the outer Cartographic Polygon and the site cut is now clean. For my site & bounds clipping, I had followed this tutorial by Urban Decoders:

which is very clear and all was well until the unknown factor impacted things. Apart from the Cesium level swap, nothing else is different.

Not sure what caused the issue but will check when my deadline has passed, and if it might be of help to anyone I will post it here. FPS is better too despite not having an outer clipping Cartographic Polygon.

I’m not sure what might cause that. Let us know if you figure it out! If you think it’s a bug in Cesium for Unreal, we’re happy to investigate, but we’ll probably need your help to reproduce it first.

Thanks Kevin. Will see if I can replicate it.
